Project Overview
To help customers confidently visualize plywood materials in real home spaces through an interactive, responsive 2D experience usable both online and in-store.
A responsive SaaS website with an interactive 2D Visualizer was designed for Sahil Plywood to help customers preview veneers, laminates, louvers, and decorative panels in real home settings. The solution is actively used both online and in physical stores to enhance decision-making and customer experience.
The process combined user-centered design, frontend execution, and close collaboration with a full-stack developer to deliver a scalable and intuitive visualization experience.
Approach

Setting the scene with the production team
Defined the visualizer experience by translating physical material selection into a realistic, interactive digital flow designed for both in-store and online use.
Created realistic interior layouts and interaction flows for the 2D Visualizer, closely collaborating with the developer to translate material options into an intuitive, real-time experience. Then integrated multiple product layers-veneers, laminates, louvers, and decorative panels—into a fully responsive visualizer, refining usability and interactions through iterative testing to deliver a seamless experience across web and large in-store screens.
Process
The process combined user-centered design, frontend execution, and close collaboration with a full-stack developer to deliver a scalable and intuitive visualization experience.
The process began with understanding in-store customer behavior and business requirements, followed by defining user flows and interaction logic for the 2D Visualizer. Wireframes and UI layouts were designed to reflect real interior spaces, then translated into responsive frontend components. Throughout development, continuous collaboration with the full-stack developer ensured accurate implementation, smooth performance, and seamless integration of dynamic material layers.

The design philosophy focused on reducing decision-making friction by making product visualization feel natural, realistic, and effortless. Every interaction was designed to mirror how customers explore materials in the real world, prioritizing clarity, usability, and scalability across both personal devices and large in-store screens.
Final Design
The final design delivered a fully responsive 2D visualization experience that enhances both digital and in-store customer journeys through intuitive interaction and realistic material previews.
The final design delivered a responsive SaaS experience with an interactive 2D Visualizer that accurately represents real home environments and material combinations. Customers can seamlessly explore veneers, laminates, louvers, and decorative panels within realistic interior layouts. Designed for both web and large in-store screens, the visualizer enables intuitive, self-guided interaction while maintaining visual consistency and performance across devices. The result is a cohesive, practical experience that enhances product understanding and supports confident decision-making.
